Immigration Support
Migration Agents Registration Authority
In Australia, migration agents must be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA). If you choose to use a migration agent, you should use a registered migration agent.

Support for asylum seekers and migrants who can’t access any other support and suffer financial hardship.

CARAD
Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees.
Support includes emergency relief for those not receiving any income, accommodation assistance for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, small no interest loans (conditions apply), and Foodbank.
Domestic Violence
1800 Respect
Confidential information, counselling and support service. the service is open 24 hours both online and via telephone to support people impacted by sexual assault, domestic or family violence and abuse. Interpreters are available if required.
Women’s Domestic Violence Helpline
A statewide 24-hour service providing support and counselling for women experiencing family and domestic violence.
Services include phone counselling, information and advice, referral to local advocacy and support services, liaison with police if necessary and support in escaping situations of family and domestic violence. The service can refer women to safe accommodation if required. Interpreting services available.
White Ribbon Australia
A not-for-profit organisation that works through a primary prevention approach in schools, workplaces, and communities across Australia to prevent violence against women.

Breastscreen WA
A program providing free screening mammograms (checks for breast cancer) to asymptomatic women, specifically women aged 50 to 74 years as the scientific evidence of benefit from screening mammography is greatest for women in this age group. However, all women 40 years or over are eligible to attend.
